Chief Bucher recently formed a committee that represented all fire and EMS departments.  Chief Bucher charged the committee with selecting a color scheme for all future fire and EMS apparatus purchased for Powhatan County Fire & EMS.  The new fire apparatus will be black over red.  No existing apparatus will be repainted, only future purchases.

For the ambulances, first responder vehicles and support apparatus the vehicle will be white with a red strip. The design of the strip is the companies’ choice.
