On July 29th we were informed that we have been awarded a grant from Philip Morris for $15,285.  We have applied for funding for an Auto Pulse Machine.  This machine will enhance the chance of survival of our citizens and our visitors when they go into cardiac arrest.  We will receive the funding in two checks and should be purchase in the near future.  The machine will be kept on EMS 2 and be the second auto pulse in the county with the current one stored on EMS 1.  Training will be provided on the machine before it goes in service.  The current Auto Pulse machine has played a vital roll in at least two saves in our county alone.  For more information on the machine go to the web site  http://www.zoll.com/product.aspx?id=84  THANK YOU PHILIP MORRIS !!
